KMHS House System
At KMHS, every student joins one of two dynamic houses: Spark (Yellow) or Ignite (Red). Our house system creates an exciting sense of belonging, pride and friendly rivalry — all driven by positive competition, participation and fun.
Through exciting head-to-head battles, students earn points for their team across sport, academics, creative events and whole-school challenges. Whether you are in team Spark or team Ignite, every effort counts — and every student has the chance to shine.

Our house mascots, Spark-Panther and Ignite-Raven, created by our in-house designer, have been chosen to embody traits that uphold our school values and commitment to lifelong learning, while also carrying a mythical or real connection to the local area
Clad in their house colour, both mascots are infused with spirited energy and capture a sense of evenly matched pride and power in friendly rivalry.
